We talked about this last night and I brought up the fact that Goldselling companies and gaming companies could in fact be bedfellows. I was sorta blown off (by Jeckel I believe) and I thought well maybe he's right until I read this article which sorta confirmed my suspicions.
My whole theory is based on perceptions by the mass gaming community (about goldselling) while they really cant always put their finger on why it is very bad, fully for the most part agree that it IS very BAD. I mean even EQ2 gets alot of flack from their auction servers. So gaming companies behind the scenes just say hey "ok we will let you guys(gold companies) in for such and such amount" Here now they can ban the ones who are not giving out their cut and still keep face in the gaming community. To me this seems like a Win Win situation so not so far fetched plus I see these funds easily being concealed.
I don't know but this seems pretty plausible to me and I always suspected this activity long before I read the above article.
