I think it's a pretty neat idea actually. With the inclusion in both EQ games and it being tied to loot drops and wearable items, it sounds like a cool idea. If they can sell it to their players and provide more fun to their base, then good for them.

Me? I dont really care too much since I dont play EQ2 or EQ but for those that do they seemed interested. The game room partition was FULL of people playing the game on Saturday so there is some interest ;)

Indeed..you're correct. Fan Faire is for FANs of SoE, not to say that im not a sony fan, but I don't currently play EQ or EQII so I was a bit disapointed..but, if they enjoy it, then thats all that matters.
