Ok..I have used my awesome jumper cables and brought this thread back =)
Anyways, I bought this awesome album on iTunes for 6.99 last night, girl named Brandi Carlile...I had never heard of her before, and she is excellent -- its her second album, The Story.

Recently, I'm digging new Pumpkins, Chemical Brothers, Justice, Interpol, and Simian Mobile Disco.
I like a lot of music, though.

I myself like Power Metal, Epic Metal, and metal that have Symphonic Elements in it. Something that make it EPIC. By that, I mean speaking about fantasy content, medieval combat, etc. Something that gives the song a meaning, or makes it into something other than yelling into a mic as hard as possible.
Some examples are as follow:
Sword in the Wind by Manowar - http://youtube.com/watch?v=bIKRYHSwLb8&mode=related&search=
Time Stands Still (At The Iron Hill) by Blind Guardian - http://youtube.com/watch?v=4dyd6WJxHJY&mode=related&search=
Valley of the Damned by Dragonforce - http://youtube.com/watch?v=QlkVK0ZVkkw
The Wanderer by Elvenking - http://youtube.com/watch?v=8KZv81qTMz4
Enjoy :)
