Loving the "Moment"

Just listened to a song from “Heart”. It was off their “Little Queen” Album called “Love Alive”. I haven't heard it in awhile and since I was the DJ of the moment, I queued it up. I made my intro of the song and cranked it up. There I sat, by myself and feasting on a great classic. It was that “moment”. You know the one, and if you don't, thats a shame.

A proverbial rough day “at the office” nothing dramatic, just a few things not working like they should. I ran home, got a bite to eat and got ready for my show. I started with my usual greetings and let the tunes fly. As always, I have fun being a DJ and its a great hobby, especially if you like playing and listening to music.

As the the bands played on (no pun intended) I started to feel better about the day. Then, I saw that song “Love Alive” by Heart. I queued it up and let it rip. Here was the “moment” I was referring too. Everything of the day seemed to just wash away. The talent of “Heart” that was Ann and Nancy Wilson was magic.

The pure emotion that is music can even at the worst times, bring a smile. Thats whats so cool about music. It's that certain song. The one that brings back good memories, a few laughs and a smile. It's that “moment” and it's at its best, when shared.
